Our story
Antihero Studios is a new kind of gaming studio, founded in 2024 by a small team of former Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and Candy Crush developers, eager to create something different.
We believe there aren't enough truly social multiplayer games on mobile — even though gaming is one of the main ways our generation connects with friends, and mobile lets you play with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Our mission is to create games worth sharing. To us, that means crafting high-quality games you'll want to play with friends every day, while building Antihero Studios into the gaming brand that resonates with today’s players.

While most mobile gaming companies lure players in their games with scammy ads, Antihero Studios is focused on creating an inspiring, modern gaming brand for modern gamers. Our goal is to make "Antihero Studios" as culturally relevant as A24, Liquid Death, Aimé Leon Dore, Fenty Beauty, and more.

Our journey began when key team members decided to leave Supercell to pursue a new vision for mobile gaming.
Founding of Antihero Studios
Antihero Studios was officially founded with a mission to create Games Worth Sharing.
Assembling the team
We've brought together a talented team of developers from top mobile gaming studios — including the former Art Director of Clash Royale, a Game Designer from Brawl Stars, Brawl Stars and MoCo Artist, and Technical Director from Candy Crush.
Prototyping our first game
Development began on our first game, with rapid prototyping and internal playtesting to refine our core gameplay mechanics and social features.
First pre-alpha playtest
Our first external playtest allowed select players to experience an early version of the game and provide valuable feedback that shaped our development direction.
Second pre-alpha playtest
With significant improvements based on initial feedback, we expanded our testing to a larger group of players to further refine gameplay and social features. This playtest will feature the visual theme inspired by our May Playtest event.
Alpha
The game reached Alpha stage with core features implemented and balanced, ready for more extensive testing with a wider audience.
Beta
Beta testing begins with a focus on performance optimization, server stability, and final gameplay adjustments based on player feedback.
Soft launch
Our first game will soft launch in select markets, marking the beginning of Antihero Studios' journey to redefine social gaming experiences.
