These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access and use of the website, content, and playtesting services provided by Antihero Studios Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Antihero Studios," "we," "our," or "us"). By using our website or participating in any playtest or promotional activity, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, do not access or use our services.
USE OF THE SERVICE
1.1 Eligibility
Our services are intended for general audiences. You do not need to create an account to use our website. Signing up asks for your email address, your platform and, optionally, a creator code. You affirm that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.
1.2 Limited License
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to access and use our website and services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission.
1.3 Creator Codes, Referral Links and Invite Codes
A creator code tells us which creator sent you, so they get credit for your signup. It is optional. After you sign up you get a personal referral link, and we sometimes publish invite codes; both are for sharing with real people. You are responsible for anyone you invite. Signups made with bots, throwaway email addresses or any other abuse of codes and links may be removed, and we may end your access.
1.4 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, bots, hacks, or unauthorized third-party tools;
- Engage in harassment, abuse, hate speech, or toxicity in any of our services or affiliated communities (e.g., Discord);
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise our services;
- Infringe on any intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these rules.
USER-GENERATED CONTENT
We may, now or in the future, invite users to create, share or submit content, including feedback or creative assets. By submitting any content, you:
- Grant Antihero Studios a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and commercialize the content;
- Waive any moral rights you may have;
- Confirm that the content is your original work and does not infringe third-party rights.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, code, and branding on our site and games are owned by or licensed to Antihero Studios. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our services.
DATA COLLECTION & COOKIES
By using the site, you acknowledge that we collect personal data and use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies and cookieless Vercel analytics are always active; Yandex.Metrica and the TikTok and Reddit pixels load only with your consent, which you can grant or withdraw at any time through our cookie banner. Our Privacy Policy lists every cookie and storage key we use.
MERCHANDISE & IN-APP PURCHASES
Our merchandise is sold at shop.antiherostudios.com, which runs on Shopify. Purchases there are governed by the shop's own Terms of Service and Refund Policy (including a 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Economic Area), not by these Terms. Our games may include in-app purchases in the future; these will be governed by additional terms when available.
TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend access to any part of the service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, especially in cases of abuse, violation of these Terms, or legal compliance.
DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, located in Delaware.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. The latest version will always be posted on our website.
