Mobile Games Like Among Us But With Combat

By Brice Laville Saint-Martin, CEO of Antihero Studios

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Among Us made hundreds of millions of people fall in love with one specific feeling: looking at another player, knowing they might be lying, and having to decide what to do about it. The format Among Us put around it was meetings and voting. The mechanic underneath was trust. A lot of people loved the trust and were less interested in the meetings. So what do you play if you want that exact feeling, but with action instead of a discussion phase?

In short

Among Us sits in a long line of social deduction games. Goose Goose Duck stays closest to its loop. Werewolf-style party games, which came before it, are even more discussion-heavy. MISFITZ, the social extraction game by Antihero Studios, goes the other direction: the trust question plays out in real-time combat, not in a meeting. Same feeling, different format.

What Among Us Actually Got Right

The reason Among Us became a generational mobile game is not the meetings. It is the second before the meeting. The moment where you see someone walk out of a room and have to decide whether you trust what they tell you next. That uncertainty, repeated round after round, is what people keep coming back for.

Everything else around it (the tasks, the venting, the emergency button) exists to set up that one moment. Players who love Among Us love that moment, and the format is how Among Us delivers it. It is also why Among Us still makes our list of the best mobile games to play with friends.

Social Deduction Picks on Mobile

Goose Goose Duck

Goose Goose Duck is the closest pure successor. More roles, deeper meta, more chaos. If you want Among Us with the dial turned up, this is it. Same loop: tasks, sabotage, meetings, votes. Cross-platform with PC.

Wolvesville (Werewolf Online) and classic Mafia formats

Wolvesville (Werewolf Online) and classic Mafia formats are pure social-deduction party games, with no combat at all. The discussion is the gameplay. Good if you specifically want the meeting and reading-the-room part of the experience. If none of these fit, our list of the new and upcoming mobile games of 2026 covers the wider field.

Moving the Mechanic Into Real-Time Combat

Putting the Among Us feeling into real-time PvPvE combat is one of the design problems MISFITZ takes on. It is not a social deduction game in the strict sense. It is a social extraction game, where the trust question sits alongside Relics, the stakes of getting out, and your crew.

MISFITZ (Antihero Studios)

Full disclosure: this is our game. Take what follows accordingly.

MISFITZ is a social extraction game for mobile: 16 players drop into the same world for runs of 2.5 to 7 minutes, find Relics and loot, and have to extract alive to keep any of it. On PC and console, ARC Raiders players often strike informal truces with strangers over proximity voice; MISFITZ turns that kind of deal into a mechanic. You can propose an alliance with anyone you meet. If they accept, you team up. Breaking an alliance starts a visible countdown, so your ally always sees it coming. When an alliance does break, it often happens close to the extraction point.

The structural difference from Among Us is that the trust question is not a periodic event followed by a meeting. It is there every time you meet another player in a run. Each encounter is a small version of the Among Us moment. You are reading them while they are reading you, and the consequences of getting it wrong are immediate, not voted on later. If you come to MISFITZ from shooters rather than party games, our guide to games like Brawl Stars and ARC Raiders looks at it from that side.

Frequently Asked Questions

What mobile games are like Among Us but with combat?

MISFITZ puts the same trust question into real-time PvPvE combat instead of meetings and votes. Goose Goose Duck stays closer to the classic Among Us loop with more roles. Wolvesville (Werewolf Online) and other party formats go the other direction, toward pure discussion with no combat.

Are there shooters where you can turn on the players you team up with?

Most squad shooters rule it out with friendly-fire limits or team-kill penalties. Extraction games work differently, because everyone outside your squad starts as a rival. In ARC Raiders, on PC and console, strangers often agree informal truces over proximity voice, with nothing in the game holding either side to the deal. MISFITZ, on mobile, makes that a mechanic: you can propose a team-up to any player you meet, and breaking it starts a countdown you both can see.

Is MISFITZ a social deduction game?

Not in the strict genre sense. MISFITZ is a social extraction game. But it shares one feeling with Among Us: the moment where you have to decide whether to trust another player, with real consequences if you get it wrong.
